The Z behind this website: Zilong (Z) Zhao, an actuary, lifeaholic, and fitness enthusiast. A firm believer of the American Dream, I’m very passionate about helping myself and others to make the most out of lives! (Check out my article, How Z’s American Dream Has Evolved Since His 2012 Valedictorian Speech.)
I currently work at a leading health insurance company as an actuary “to improve the health, well-being, and sense of security of the people we serve.” Outside work, I’m the Director of Collegiate Relations at National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) – National & Philadelphia. I’m a 2016 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Temple University with a BBA in actuarial science and minor in computer science. I was an active student leader on campus: served as an officer at five different student organizations, including being the president of Temple University Asian Students Association (Temple ASA) and president & co-founder of NAAAP Temple, a collegiate chapter of NAAAP Philadelphia. Not a big fan of idle time, I love reading, traveling, working out, and making friends.
