Z is for Victor Z.

Hey there, this is Victor Z, an actuary by trade and an analytics & strategy leader at a VC-backed startup.

I launched WeZBest in 2017 because I’m a firm believer of the American Dream and was eager to help myself and others to become the best versions of ourselves (thus we z/the best)! (See my blog post, How Z’s American Dream Has Evolved Since His 2012 Valedictorian Speech.)

I studied actuarial science at Temple University and joined a Fortune 15 company’s leadership rotational program post graduation. Aside from working in a diverse range of roles (actuarial pricing, data science, and product management), one of the highlights of my time there is starting and running a nation-wide employee shark tank innovation program.

An entrepreneur at heart, I decided to leave the comfort of Corporate America to join a startup in 2022. It’s been a wild, fun, and fulfilling ride so far.
